I think the most annoying thing about Holiday Achievements is that you have to wait possibly all year in order to complete all of the achievements. But luckily, Hallow's End is one of the WoW holidays in which I have achievements that need completed, so I will be looking forward to completing those!
Looking at my achievements page, I have a total of 50 points left for this holiday, in particular, the infamous [A Mask for All Occasions], [Tricks and Treats of Northrend], [Tricks and Treats of Cataclysm], and [Tricks and Treats of Pandaria]. I was extremely happy to read that [A Mask for All Occasions] has changed so that they are now buyable from a vendor with [Tricky Treats], which will be amazing since I only have four left. The rest seem like they will be easily done in a few, if not less, hours.
My other big goal will be to obtain the Horseman's Mount, which has evaded my grasp due to my apparently bad Hallow's End luck. So wish me luck this year!

WoW Raid Mounts! (Via the Black Market Auction House)
I have discovered that this expansion has really done a great service to mount collectors via the Black Market Auction House.
The Black Market Auction House is an auction house that has different items placed into it (via Non-player characters.) The most noteable things I have seen in it were level 90 epics (PvP gear) as well as level 60 tier sets for transmogrification. But (as evidenced by my title) the most exciting feature of the auction house is the fact that it sells hard to get raid mounts.
Since launch, I have only personally noticed there being two raid mounts, the Azure Drake and the Drake of the South Wind (Malygos 25 and Al'Akir 25, respectively.) All of the items in the auction house are a bid only status, so they are bound to go for crazy amounts of gold, but it opens up a great avenue for mount collectors who don't necessarily always have the guild available to do mount farming runs. There have also been pets that are instance drops (such as the phoenix hatchling). I know I am personally going to be saving up my coppers for Invincible. :)
Normally on my mount collecting endeavors, I buy the mounts as they become available (such as all the reputation mounts.) However with this new addition, it definitely pays to save up in order to snag some of these mounts that are bound to go for 6 digits. (The last two on my server went for 350k+) It might be too high a price for some, but if you have your heart set on a specific mount, this is extremely welcome news.
So, happy mount (and gold) farming everyone!

Well, after a hiatus due to school, I have decided to go ahead and give Mists of Pandaria a try. Since I still have four weeks of school left over, I will be making slow progress since I am now in my hardest term, but otherwise it still feels good to be back. :)
As of now, I don't think I'm going to be looking to raid hardcore or anything like I used to, but I will be focusing on the one aspect of WoW that has addicted me since its implementation: Achievements.
I used the free faction transfer from a friend, and sadly it got rid of a lot of my mounts. That was a huge disappointment, but I have already got most of them back. The two main mounts I lost that upset me was my Black War Mammoth from VoA, and my Black War Bear from the achievement from slaying all of the town faction leaders. As of now, I don't know if I can get the Alliance equivalent since my achievement shows that it is already done, but at the very least it counts towards my total mount count for achievements.
In this blog, I will be posting my achievement goals/completions, as well as some guides to help out any other achievement whores out there. If there are any questions, I would also be happy to answer or research anything, just leave the question in a comment and I'll see if I can help anyone out. :)
That is about all for now, happy achievement hunting everyone!
